1st Posting - Cuzco to Ollantaytambo

Even though this is the rainy season, we were quite fortunate with the weather and had quite a bit of blue sky and very little rain during our 3 days in Peru.

The natives really dress like this - it's not just for tourists!

Here are two very colorful Incas!

I had to put this on the blog as Kermit is actually smiling while enjoying a pisco sour.

65 degrees is cold for the natives!

This is a modern hotel in Ollantaytambo, but their gardens are exquisite.

Kermit and Alan enjoy the Vistadome car on our train to Machu Pichu.

The Urubamba River is wild and ferocious as it roars through the canyon.
